I guess it simply saw that I already had an nVidia driver in place (and a more recent one) on my system so it didn't recommend a download for it. I had to download the driver manually from the link above instead. For this reason I am also asking if I should download the processor driver manually from the website (at the very least).

Should I download the old drivers or keep the Windows drivers? I recently upgraded this old Dell M1530 Vista x64 laptop to Windows 8 Enterprise x64. Apparently the sound company for it (Sigmatel) went out of business before Windows 7 was even released and their latest drivers are some ancient Vista drivers.
